Meet the Cooley's Grading Family:
Owner Emerson E. Cooley Jr, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, had a vision back in 1970's to become a business owner. Once out of the U.S. Air Force in the Mid 1970's, he became an employer of BASF in Anderson, SC. Emerson E. Cooley Jr also started running his own part-time business in the late 80's and early 90's until one day God gave him a change of heart. He felt an internal motivation to transition the part-time business into a full-time business instead. To that end, Emerson E. Cooley Jr stepped out on faith in April of 1995. He submitted his letter of resignation at BASF to become a full-time business owner of Cooley's Grading.
Emerson E. Cooley Jr is not only a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. With over 40 years of experience in his profession, Emerson is a Professor of sorts. He continues to hone his skills, consistently amazing others with his breath of knowledge and demonstrating what he can do within the grading industry.
Emerson E. Cooley Jr has the integrity and commitment to treat every job with the mindfulness and professionalism required to ensure that each job is completed to his client's expectations and satisfaction. He works to provide the same high-level of service that he would want others to provide to him. Having lived and worked in Anderson, SC area for 55 years Emerson E. Cooley Jr is confident that his work speaks for it self when it comes to handling business treating each client with respect and making sure all jobs are completed with quality service.
Emerson E. Cooley III son of Owner Emerson E. Cooley Jr, started his grading industry journey as a youngster in the early 90's when he was playing with Tonka toys amongst the stockpiles of material that his father had outside the shop yard. Upon graduating from T. L. Hanna High School in Anderson, SC he immediately began helping his father run the family business. Emerson E. Cooley III continued to work at Cooley's Grading as part-time employee while pursing other career opportunities. Despite good experiences and advancement elsewhere, he drawn to focus his skills within the family business, transitioning to full-time in May 2004.
Emerson E. Cooley III now has over 20 years of experience within the grading and complimentary industries. His areas of experience include grading, septic systems, and use of bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, skid steers and other pieces of large machinery. He also possesses a CDL license, allowing for driving Tractor Trailers and Dump trucks to transport and haul as needed.
As a devoted father of three children proud employee of Cooley's Grading, Emerson E. Cooley III is also the owner of Cooley's Home Essentials & Maintenance LLC in Anderson, SC. As a new service, he offers services that are complimentary too and that builds upon the years of quality services offered by Cooley's Grading. Even with the addition of the new service, you can usually find Emerson E. Cooley III in one of the trucks or operating equipment alongside his father Emerson E. Cooley Jr. Proving that the apple does not fall far from the tree, Emerson E. Cooley III is confident that his work speaks for itself ensuring that each job is completed safely and in keeping with reasonable timing.
